Over the past 40 years,
LaFramboise Well Drilling has installed thousands of water supply wells
for homes, farms, businesses and municipalities. A vast majority of these
wells here in the northeast are bedrock wells drilled into the groundwater
aquifers located far beneath the earth's surface.
Since more than 97% of our
freshwater is underground and less than 3% exists on the earth's surface
in lakes, streams and reservoirs, it is easy to see how abundant
groundwater is compared to surface water and how important it is to
protect this valuable resource. Drilled wells can protect the generally
greater purity of underground water more easily and more securely than dug
wells do. LaFramboise Well drilling is proud to have been both a provider
and protector of our vast groundwater resources for four decades and we
look forward to continuing in this important role for years to come.
We also drill irrigation wells
for agricultural needs, institutional use and private residences. Many
times, the cost of "city water" or the inconvenience of
town-imposed "water bans" make and irrigation well an
affordable, practical water source for athletic fields, commercial
properties and home landscaping that need reliable, regular watering.
We offer several different
methods of drilling water supply wells. Rotary air percussion and cable
tool ("the pounder") are the most widely used methods in the
northeast. After a site visit by our representative, the suggested method
will be based on geologic conditions and formations likely to be
encountered in your area.
